Mrs. Amy Burrier, President

Mrs. Amy Burrier has been a member of the TVLSD Board of Education since January 2014. From 2020-2022, she served as President.  After a two year  stint as vice-president Mrs, Burrier returned to the role of President in January 2025. She is also involved with the Tusky Valley Trojans Athletic Boosters where she has chaired concessions for all sports for over 10 years, the annual Night at the Races, and co-chairs the TV Alumni Basketball fundraiser. She is a trustee for the Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame representing TV and a member of the Tuscarawas Valley Ruritans. She have a degree in Early Childhood Education and holds a Professional Nanny Certification. Her full-time job is an Early Intervention Service Coordinator for Tuscarawas County.  She love serving in our community and has a passion for helping others.

She is married to Trevor Burrier, a TV alumni and has two children, Tyler and Katie, both graduates of the TV district.
Mrs. Sally Green, Vice-President

Mrs. Sally Green has been a member of the TVLSD Board of Education since January 2006. She has served as President and Vice-President of the TV board and reassumed the role of Vice-President in January 2025. In 2020, Mrs. Green was recognized as an OSBA Master Board Member, a lifetime distinction. She is a member of OSBA’s Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, Legislative Platform Committee, Black Caucus and Northeast Region Executive Committee. She also served as OSBA president in 2024.

“I am passionate about quality education for all students. Education can and does change the trajectory of a student’s life. OSBA does an excellent job providing educational excellence for school board members. It is an honor to be a part of this organization.”

She is married to David Green. She has two children, Matthew and Claire, both graduates of the TV District and six grandchildren.
Mr. Richard Gooding


Mr. Richard Gooding has been a member of the TVLSD Board of Education since August 2003.  Mr. Gooding received his B.S. degree in Landscape Horticulture from the Ohio State University and owned/operated Gooding’s Nursery & Landscaping for 45 years before retiring in 2021. During his career he was active in nursery/landscape association work at both the state and national level having served as president of these groups as well as a national rep on the prestigious Council of Tree & Landscape Appraisers, where he co- authored two editions of the national Guide for Plant Appraisal and three editions of the state Guide to Appraisal of Trees and Other Plants in Ohio. He serves on Empower Tusc (formerly the Tuscarawas County Anti-Drug Coalition), Tusky Valley Ruritan club, active in his local church as well as serving as an Ambassador for Promise Keeper’s men’s ministry, and volunteers as chairman of the Perry J. Vasbinder Memorial Arboretum committee of the Carroll County Historical Association.

He is married to Mary Ellen Gooding and is the proud father of Jessica and Josh, both graduates of the TV district.



Mr. Ben Overton

Mr. Ben Overton has been a member of the TVLSD Board of Education since June 2020.  

He is married to Lynsey Overton and is the proud father of Corben, Jamin, and Kaden, all students at TV.  













Mr. Adam Fisher

Mr. Adam Fisher has been a member of the TVLSD Board of Education since February 2025.  He currently is a Captain for the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office and is assigned to the Detective Bureau. Prior to working at the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office, Adam held positions of Sergeant at the Strasburg Police Department and Probation Officer with the Tuscarawas County Community Corrections Program. Adam started his career with the Sugarcreek Police Department and has spent time working with the Central Intelligence Agency as a Police Officer in Virginia.

 

Adam graduated from The University of Akron Police Academy in 2006 and has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology. He has been previously licensed as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board and was an Emergency Medical Technician and Firefighter with 14 years of experience in the Fire and Emergency Services Field.

 

Adam also served as a regional trainer for The Supreme Court of Ohio and is an instructor for the Ohio Police Officer’s Training Academy (OPOTA). He is a member of the Sheriff’s Office Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), which is a police mental health collaborative program focusing on interactions between law enforcement and those living with a mental illness, a field training officer (FTO) and is a certified hostage negotiator. He has also been presented a lifesaving award where his actions sustained the life of another. In his current role, Adam is responsible for supervising the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau and field training program while also investigating a myriad of criminal cases.
