Congratulations to Ben Congdon as he placed 6th at the state wrestling tournament this past weekend to earn All-Ohio honors. Ben is just the 7th Trojan wrestler to place at state. Congratulations Ben!

Congratulations to TVMHS 8th grader Sidney Bosler on winning the OhioQuest Girls State Tournament.

Congratulations to junior Trista Lieser as she placed 3rd in the 3200M run at the indoor state track meet. Fellow junior Abe McElwee placed 6th in the 400M.

TVLS Raises Money for Rainbow Connection

Thank you to everyone who helped our district has raised over $2,000 to support the Rainbow Connection this week!

Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year Now Open

TV Elementary School is now accepting Kindergarten registrations! A child must be 5 years old by August 1, 2025 in order to register. If your child meets this criteria, complete the registration process by visiting https://tuscarawas.esvportal.com.

The following documents are needed to finalize registration:
• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Record
• Custody Papers (if applicable)
• Proof of Residency (current utility bill or lease agreement/mortgage statement).

Golf Programs to Hold Scramble on May 10th

The Tusky Valley boys' and girls' golf programs will be holding a golf scramble at Wilkshire Golf Course on Saturday, May 10th. To sign up email your team name, team members and phone number to [email protected].

Paisley Chosen as Staff of the Month

Congratulations to TVMHS teacher Sean Paisley as he was chosen as Staff Member of the Month by the TVMHS student body. The Staff Member of the Month is sponsored by the Big Red PEP Club and monthly themes are used to nominate teachers. This month's theme was a staff member who is observant and patient. After staff members were nominated, the student body was given a chance to vote and Mr. Paisley was chosen. Congratulations Mr. Paisley!

Tidrick Named February Student of the Month

The February Student of the Month is senior Xander Tidrick. Xander is the son of Chaleen and Jerry Tidrick. Xander is a member of the TVHS golf team and the TVHS marching band. In his free time, Xander’s hobbies include archery, coding and camping. After graduation, Xander plans to attend Rochester Institute of Technology to major in game design and development.

Congdon Named February Athlete of the Month

The February Athlete of the Month is senior Dylan Congdon. Dylan is the son of Andrew and Rebecca Congdon. Dylan is a member of the TVHS football and wrestling teams and will attend Campbell University on a football scholarship in the fall. Dylan placed 6th at the state wrestling meet as a junior and was named a Division V Third Team All-Ohio in football this past fall. Dylan’s hobbies include hunting, fishing and lifting weights. Dylan plans to major in sports management at Campbell University.

Ernst Named Fine Arts Student of the Month

The February Fine Arts Student of the Month is senior Allison Ernst. Allison is the daughter of April and Adam Ernst. Allison’s school activities include band, track & field, speech & debate, Hope Squad, Pep Club, theater & costume design. Her hobbies include sewing, working and creating art. After graduation, Allison plans to attend Kent State University and major in fashion design and merchandising.

5th Grade Young Authors & Illustrators Travel to Kent-Tusc

Tusky Valley fifth graders showcased their creativity at the Young Authors’ and Illustrators’ Conference this past Friday, February 21st. Selected participants included authors Quinn Martell and Max Gettan, along with illustrators Addy Lee and Ellie Horger. Students engaged in a collaborative peer review process, celebrating the works of talented writers and illustrators representing several Tuscarawas County districts. We are so proud of our students' courage and hard work! Special thanks to the ESC for making this opportunity possible.
