The district was pleased to give the November Trojan Pride Award to Mr. John Ladrach at Monday's Board of Education meeting. Mr. Ladrach is a 1962 graduate of Tusky Valley High School. He began his career at Tusky Valley in 1973, retiring from the bus garage in 1999. Mr. Ladrach is a positive role model to those around him, always looking to serve others and better the lives of those in his community. You might see him Friday nights as part of the Color Guard with the American Legion or being involved in numerous fundraisers with the Tusky Valley Ruritans Club. Through his leadership, thousands of dollars have been raised to fund scholarships for TV seniors and the club also annually provides dictionaries to third-grade students. For the past several years, he has also donated his time, energy, and resources by helping with the hayrides at the Community Bonfire, never charging the district for anything. You can also usually find him volunteering at the Back to School Blast or helping with any other activity the district might request of him. On behalf of the Board of Education, students, and staff here at TV, thank you, John, for your relentless willingness to always help out the Tusky Valley School District and to better the lives of our students!
