I want to welcome you to Tusky Valley Elementary School, home of our 2nd - 6th grade students.  As your principal, I have the privilege to work with you, your students and staff to make Tusky Valley a wonderful place to live and raise a family.   Our goal at Tusky Valley is to provide a safe and inviting atmosphere so that your students can have excellent educational experience in order to learn and grow academically and social/emotionally.  

Tusky Valley’s strong teaching staff, focus on educational achievement, and rigorous curriculum offer a well-rounded education for your child.  Teacher’s background knowledge in reading and a curriculum grounded in the Science of Reading has helped to develop reading strategies and interventions that support all learners.  Through engaging curriculums, such as Project Lead the Way/Launch, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), and technology, students are able to learn problem solving skills through hands-on projects that they can apply to everyday life. We are committed to providing educational opportunities that inspire students to become life-long learners.
