We are a Preschool - 1st grade building located in Mineral City, Ohio. We believe all children can learn and practice research-based, data-driven instruction in every classroom. In Spring 2022, Tusky Valley Primary was named 1 of only 13 schools in the state as a model site for early literacy instruction by the Ohio Department of Education. Students are engaged with a rigorous curriculum and caring staff on a daily basis, including specialized classes in Technology, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), Music, and Physical Education. We are also proud to be a Project Lead the Way school, which empowers students to develop and apply in-demand, transportable skills by exploring real-world challenges in an exciting and engaging way.
