The October Athlete of the Month is junior Abbey Dillon. Abbey is the daughter of Shawn and Jenn Dillon of Bolivar. Abbey was selected for her outstanding record setting season that helped lead the girls’ golf team to the IVC title. Abbey set school records for the lowest nine hole score (35) and the lowest 18 hole score (78) while earning first team IVC honors. Abbey has earned six varsity letters at Tusky Valley including three in golf, two in girls’ basketball and one in softball. Off the field, Abbey is a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Student Council. In her free time Abbey enjoys going out with friends, golfing and skiing. After graduation, Abbey plans to play college golf and major in speech therapy.
