The TVHS May Fine Arts Student of the Month is Drake Spina. Drake is the son of son of Sean and Carrie Spina of Bolivar. Drake is a member of the Drama Club and speech & debate team. Drake is a four time national qualifier in Speech & Debate and is currently ranked in the top five in the nation in the category of humorous interpretation. This spring, Drake played the role of Shrek during the spring musical. In his free time Drake enjoys gardening, acting and dogs. After high school, Drake plans to attend George Mason University to study biology and meteorology and eventually earn a master’s degree in botany.
